The weather forecast warns of frost in the highlands and alerts farmers, ranchers, beekeepers and poultry keepers.

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects cold to very cold weather overnight and early morning in the governorates of (Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar and Al-Bayda) and the highlands of the governorates (Abyan, Lahj, Al-Dhale’, Ibb, southern Mar’ib and western Al-Jawf), with the possibility of frost formation in some parts of them.

The center also expects cold in the highlands of the governorates of: (Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Shabwa and Hadhramaut).

The Center warned citizens residing or traveling in these governorates of cold and extreme cold, especially the elderly, children, the sick and those who work at night and early in the morning.

He advised farmers to take necessary measures to protect their agricultural crops, and he also advised herders of livestock, bees and poultry to shelter them in warm places.
